Basin Electric of Bismarck, ND has executed a Power Purchase Agreement for 98 megawatts, the entire output of the project’s first phase; enough to power nearly 30,000 homes. Basin is a not-for-profit generation and transmission cooperative; consumer owned by 137 member cooperative systems. Members’ service territories comprise 540,000 square miles in nine states: Colorado, Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wyoming. Basin serves 2.8 million electric consumers. Inducing the Campbell County Wind Farm output, Basin now has over 1,100 megawatts of wind in its portfolio.

Consolidated Edison Development of New York State acquired the project fro Campbell County Wind Farm Holdings on June 26, 2015. Consolidated Edison Development has more than 1000 megawatts of solar projects in various sttes of operation and development nationwide. Campbell County Wind Farm is Consolidated Edison Development’s third and largest wind project.
